FAQ’s - FREQUENT QUESTIONS

  1. Is there a minimum value of purchase in the online store?

    There is no minimum value.

  2. Which are the payment methods?

    The purchases made in the online store must be paid through the available payment methods, VISA or MasterCard, or through cash in delivery for Portugal and Spain, both Continental (with an added fee of €2,50). Exclusively for Portugal it is possible to make the payment through an ATM reference.

  3. Does AUBACI have physical store(s)?

    Yes. You may consult the full list of AUBACI stores here.

  4. What happens to my personal data?

    Your data is safeguarded by National Data Protection Commission. AUBACI will use them merely for commercial purposes. You may, at any moment, proceed to changes or erase it if you intend to.

  5. Are packages really discreet?

    The packages are in cardboard without any kind of publicity, guaranteeing more discretion to assure our clients privacy.

  6. Am I allowed to make amendments in my order after finalizing?

    Yes, you may amend until the state “ready for shipping”, for that you need to communicate the changes via email or phone. To check the state of your order you accede to the orders history in your client area here.

  7. Which products may be returned?

    By lack of conformity, as provided for in article 2nd of Decree-Law 67/2003 of April 8, may be returned all products.

    By account of the exercise of right of free resolution of contracts may be returned the sealed products for health and hygiene matters when the respective seal was not violated, in the terms of al. e) of n. º 1 of the article 17 of Decree-Law 24/2014 of February 14.

  10. May I make an order by telephone?

    No. To preserve our clients data and in sequence to our privacy politics, it is no possible to order by telephone. However, we provide customer support service via telephone, email or chat.

  11. What is the delivery time?

    For order made until 16h, the delivery will be made on the following working day, in the store or designated address (Continental Portugal and Spain). You may consult our delivery times for other destinations here.

  12. How can I follow my order process?

    You may follow your order state in order history in your client area.

  13. My order was not delivered. What do I do?

    You should check your order state in order history in client area and if it is marked as “sent” in a superior period than stipulated, you should contact our customer service support.

  14. May I order a special gift package?

    At this moment, that option is only available in AUBACI’s physical stores.

  15. Do the products have warranty?

    On the terms of article 5.º, n.º1, of Decree-Law 67/2003 of April 8 the consumers may report lack of conformity of products in the range of 2 years starting in the goods deliverance.

  16. Is it possible to pay by cash on delivery?

    Yes, only for Portugal and Spain, both Continental, however, an additional fee of €2.50 will be charged, even in cases of free shipping.

  17. If there is nobody in the designed address to receive the package, what happens?

    The shipping company will leave a note to reschedule delivery.

  18. May I pay by instalments?

    No. The payment shall be made in full. Consult payment option here.

  19. How long do I have to return a product?

    In the terms of article 5.º -A of Decree-Law 67/2003 of April 8 the consumer must report lack of conformity of the product(s) within a period of 2 months counting from detection date, and within the warranty limit of 2 years. In the case of distance agreements celebration (provided in Decree-Law 24/2014 of February 14) the consumer has the right to solve the contract, bearing the costs of concerning return (article 13.º, n.º2 in that diploma), and with no need to indicate a reason, in a 14 days period counting from the day the consumer, or a third party by him indicated, acquires physical possession of the goods –article 10.º of Decree-Law 24/2014 of February 14.

  20. Is it necessary to effectuate a customer account registration to purchase in AUBACI’s online store?

    Yes. Registration is mandatory to effectuate a purchase in our online store.

  21. How can I subscribe the newsletter?

    It is possible to activate newsletter sending in the client registration account, in client area or in AUBACI webpage.

  22. How do I cancel the newsletter?

    To cancel the newsletter subscription all you have to do is to send us an email requesting its cancellation or cancel the subscription in client area, in the case of being a registered client.
